4 day In person training Immersions. The second step of your certification. Completed in person, alongside guides from cohorts from around the world.
This is where your certification comes together. Four days on the land, walking the practice alongside ANFT trainers and guides from other cohorts. You’ll leave with your full certification, and with a community of guides who share the same heart centered enthusiasm for this practice as you.

Who It's For & Eligibility
Eligible to apply: You’ve completed Module 4 (and its assignments) of the six-month training.
Also welcome, space permitting: ANFT fully certified guides from any past cohort.
Priority: Given to those who still need this immersion to complete their certification.
How it works: You’ll be waitlisted after applying, with spots confirmed three weeks before the immersion starts.
Completing this immersion alongside the six-month training is what fulfills your full certification as an ANFT Forest Therapy guide.
What you'll experience
Practice in real time – apply everything you’ve learned through live, in-person forest therapy walks.
Meet ANFT trainers face to face, after months of learning together on screen.</span
Connect with guides from other cohorts, each carrying their own story and lived experience of this same journey.
Learn from each other – the questions, edges, and discoveries other guides bring with them.
Deepen into the practice itself, with more time and space.Ask the questions that only surface in person – the ones that come up once you’re actually standing in the forest, guiding.
How This Training Immersion Unfolds
Each day follows a consistent spacious structure — mornings include a group circle and a guided forest therapy walk, afternoons include walk debriefs and experiential sessions. You will be guiding each other and debriefing those walks as well. The schedule progresses from group walks in the first half to a solo walk and story circle by day three, ending with a closing circle and farewell on the final morning.

Certification & Requirements
Certificate:
Completing this immersion converts your provisional certificate to a permanent ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide credential.
Requirements:
Must be completed within 2 years of finishing the 6-month training.
Investment & Enrollment
Tuition: $495 USD
due when you register for a specific immersion (no need to pay before then).
Not included:
Travel, lodging or camping, and food — these are arranged and paid for separately by each trainee.

Training Immersions FAQs
Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone who has completed at least Module 4 (with assignments submitted) of the six-month remote training. ANFT-trained guides from past cohorts can also apply if space allows.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes. When the immersion is full, all applicants are waitlisted until three weeks before the immersion starts, with priority given to those who need it to complete their certification.
What does completing this immersion give me?
It moves your certification from provisional to permanent. You have two years from finishing the six-month training to complete it.
What's included?
The full program of guided walks, debriefs, and experiential sessions.
What's the tuition, and what's not included?
$495 USD, due only when you register. It doesn’t cover travel, lodging, or food — those are booked and paid separately, and costs vary by venue.
When do I pay, and when can I book travel?
Wait until you receive enrollment confirmation before booking anything or paying tuition.
What's the cancellation policy?

When will I know the schedule for the 6 month training?
The NEW Start In-Person training will be happening in different parts of the world including the USA and Canada in North America, in Europe and in the Asia Pacific Region.
This training starts with a 7-day in person experiential training followed by a 4-month online integration training with weekly live online sessions that you can join from anywhere in the world. You can find our current Start In-Person Trainings HERE.
