Guiding Business Success
A four-day gathering. A council with the more-than-human world
Partnerships and walk series. A self-paced course with Jackie Kuang.
Most guides find that the hardest part of a practice isn’t the guiding. It’s creating the relationships and repeat opportunities that allow you to keep offering walks over time. This course walks step by step through two practical approaches: building partnerships with organisations that already have an audience, and creating walk series structured to encourage people to return.

– a repeatable process for approaching them, rather than a nervous first email
– to understand why walk series work, and how to price them
– language for money conversations, including what to do about refunds
– to feel clear about their own “why” before asking anyone else to say yes

What makes this different
This course is about relationships more than marketing. The approach starts with your “why” and moves toward partnerships built as genuine win-wins, where the organization gains as much as you do, which is why they hold. Jackie Kuang has guided since 2017, co-led more than ten guide trainings worldwide, and works as a trainer and business manager with ANFT. She came to this with a background as a Certified Public Accountant alongside teaching, translating, and marketing, and she brings a particular ease to money conversations that many guides find difficult. The frame throughout is happy money, making peace with earning from work you love.
Why join us
A guide with a good partnership stops worrying about attendance. The organization brings the people, the venue is settled, the walks recur, and the income becomes something you can plan around. That shift changes what’s possible in a practice: how much you guide, who you reach, and whether this stays a side interest or becomes the work. This course gives you the process, the scripts, and the pricing to make it happen
