City of Calgary, Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
🥾 About This Trail
The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a 36-hectare ecological haven, surrounded by a bustling city, that connects people to their wild neighbours and the wonders of nature. Its grassland, forest, and riparian ecosystems have provided migratory birds with a place to rest their wings since 1929.
Designed to support the mental health and well-being of Calgary’s residents and visitors alike, the self-guided trail takes users on a sensory exploration of the sanctuary.
