Patricia Himes

Patty Himes grew up in the woods of Western Pennsylvania. Surrounded by a family of outdoorsy people she developed a deep connection and love of all things nature. Professionally, Patty has shared this love of nature as a science teacher in the Pittsburgh Public School System. Patty continued her teaching career as a naturalist educator with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, developing and implementing programs that connect people to nature. Her recent certification as a Forest Therapy guide is an exciting expansion into the programs she can offer.
