Dr. Susan Abookire

Susan Abookire, BSEE, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and senior executive with 22 years’ experience leading healthcare organizations. She served as Chief Medical Officer, System Chief Quality Officer, and Department Chair. Dr. Abookire began her career as an electrical engineer in aviation systems. Certified as a Forest Therapy Guide, Dr. Abookire offers nature-inspired executive coaching and leadership development. She offers, in collaboration with ANFT, a Nature as Medicine Practitioner Certification and training program.
