Victoria, B.C., Canada
I have always felt a deep connection to trees—they are like family to me. In 2018, I traveled to California to earn my Forest Therapy Guide certification through the ANFT. Shortly after returning home, I founded Salish Sea Nature Connections on Salt Spring Island, where I lived for nine years among the trees of the Salish Sea. In 2024, I relocated to the Greater Victoria area on beautiful Vancouver Island.
A passionate advocate for whole-body well-being, I have been a wellness practitioner for 19 years. My journey began with Reiki in 2006, followed by ThetaHealing and Holistic Nutrition. Today, I am a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.), ThetaHealing teacher and practitioner, and Reiki Master. In 2020, forest therapy reignited my creativity, leading me back to painting after a 20-year break, and writing. I am now a visual artist and published author. Learn more about my other work here.
Together with my husband, wildlife and nature photographer Dave Hutchison, I offer forest therapy walks and photo tours in the Sooke to Port Renfrew West Coast Corridor. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, photographer, or simply wish to immerse yourself in BC’s ancient forests, we’d love to share this experience with you.
Join me for a mindful forest therapy walk and experience the healing power of nature.
