Woodland Immersions Claimed

Growing up walking in the woods and experiencing wonder in the natural world, Ann Hoover possesses an enduring love, respect and awe for the forest.  

With Woodland Immersions, Ann hopes to open the door to the wonders the natural world offers so freely.  Guiding participants into the healing atmosphere of the forest, she hopes to help open their senses and become more deeply aware of the crickets, the birds, the oak trees and the beauty all around. The slow walks use a series of invitations and group sharing to enhance the experience. 

Woodland Immersions will offer public and private Forest Bathing /Forest Therapy Walks as well as  Retreats in Ithaca and the Cayuga Lake region. LedgeRock, a private family camp permeated by a gorged hemlock, oak and maple woodland now has a trail dedicated to Forest Bathing where Ann welcomes visitors.   As a service, walks are offered once a month to non-profits, groups, and nursing facilities making Forest Bathing accessible to more people in and around Ithaca.
