Guide Details
Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA
Tina is an ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide. She has spent most of her life living in and exploring the Pacific Northwest and finding ways to connect with the land. She has experienced firsthand the profound ways in which the natural world can heal and restore us if we take time to slow down and let it work its magic, and she's passionate about helping others savor nature and discover their personal connection with the earth.
Tina is a writer, artist, improv teacher, and parent. She has an MA in Theology and the Arts, and is passionate about sharing the many ways in which human beings can begin to feel at home in nature and find a healthy place in the web of being. She's slightly obsessed with animal tracking, foraging, fire building, and survival skills in general, but she knows you don't have to go to extremes (or even on a hike) to find a restorative moment in nature.
Tina is a founding member of Cascadia Forest Therapy, and guides both public walks and private sessions for individuals and groups.
