Pat Bavin Claimed

Pat Bavin was born, raised, and still lives in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia where nature and mountains are his playground. Over the last 45 years he has owned 11 businesses in the fields of Sports, Arts, and Healing. Pat was the elder partner, with his son Ryan from 1988 - 2018 with the glassblowing facility of  Bavin Glassworks as well as an Acrylic painter since 2000. Bavin graduated from college as a technician in Community and Regional planning, with a thesis in Alpine park Planning and has worked on projects using Bioregional and Outdoor Recreation Planning. In 1991 he started training as a Black Hat Feng Shui practioner which gave him the new eyes to witness the interaction between Natures elements and our senses and emotions. Becoming a certified Forest Bathing guide has been an ideal addition to his Geomancy (Earth Science) practice of Feng Shui which has been a wonderful asset in Pats trail certification work with the creation of Western Canada's first certified trail at the Radius Retreat Centre in Radium Hot Springs, B.C. From an early age, because of his parents and their relationship with First Nations people, Bavin has had a fascination with multiple cultures and their practices while travelling in Peru, Japan, Central America, Arizona, and Baffin Island. He is especially interested in their shamanic practices and Art. Pat continues to use Nature as his teacher both spiritually and as the primary design consultant for his artwork as he keeps active with hiking, skiing, and camping.
