Our guide, Jesse Remer, is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), bringing a deep, relational approach to healing through nature. For more than two decades, Jesse has been guiding women in circles, retreats, trainings, and transformational spaces that center connection, embodiment, and collective care.

Jesse is also an internationally recognized doula trainer and maternal-health leader, known for her pioneering work at the intersection of community care, education, and health systems change. She is the founder of Forest Therapy PDX and Mother Tree International, based in Portland, Oregon—organizations devoted to cultivating sustainable, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive pathways to wellness. Her work spans forests and hospitals alike, weaving ancient wisdom with modern practice to support the whole person across life’s transitions.

In addition to her work as a forest therapy guide, Jesse is a flower essence alchemist, educator, speaker, and writer whose teachings invite participants into deeper listening—with the land, with one another, and with themselves. She carries decades of experience as a doula, holding people through birth, loss, and profound transformation, and brings this same steady, compassionate presence into her forest therapy practice.
