Monika Stelzl (PhD - Social Psychology) grew up in Czechoslovakia (now Czechia) where she spent a substantial amount of time roaming the outdoors. Since coming to Canada, Monika has continued to savour nature’s company. The fusion of her career as a researcher and university educator with the embodied and sensory focus of forest therapy guiding has offered a deepened exploration of the rich web of Earth life. Monika is a certified Forest therapy guide (ANFT – 2019; GIFT – 2021) and as a guide, she is passionate about re-connecting people with the forest and the many beings who dwell there. She lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
