Monica is the founder of Great Bear Nature Connection. Growing up on the Rocky Mountain Front in Montana, she has explored and been annoyingly curious about the natural world her whole life. Monica became an ANFT certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide in 2019 and has guided walks in Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Montana. Monica is a Maryland Master Naturalist and Facilitator who teaches across Maryland in the Piedmont and Mountain Regions. She has partnered with local, state and educational facilities to share her knowledge and skills. Monica is available for public & private walks, events, retreats and speaking engagements.
