Offering slow gentle forest bathing walks since 2021.
I have been offering forest bathing walks since 2021. Forest Bathing/Nature Therapy walks are slow, mostly silent, and focused on using our senses. Attention is placed on renewing and strengthening our relationship with nature. Walks are usually 2.5 hours long, but the length of time can be adapted to the group’s needs. Walks are generally 1.5 miles in length and the location is co-determined, with arrangements made with the cooperation of landowners.
As Rachel Carson wrote, “The lasting pleasures of contact with the natural world are not reserved for scientists but are available to anyone who will place him or herself under the influence of earth, sea, and sky and their amazing life.”
