Welcome. My name is Mish and I am a certified nature and forest therapy guide, EcoNIDRA™ trainer & Ecotherapist based on our 500 acre eco-santuary in Waikawa, New Zealand, 10mins from Picton-Wellington ferry terminal on the South Island.
Offering online and face to face nature experiences to support your needs. As there are quite a few options, please contact to discuss. With face to face, you are invited to join me for an individual or group forest therapy experience along a gentle river trail. This practice is similar to or known as forest bathing, shinrin-yoku, nature therapy and nature immersion walks.
I honour with gratitude whenua (land) and tangata whenua (people of the land), past, present and emerging. I would like to acknowledge Te Atiawa whanau who whakapapa to Te Tau Ihu (the top of the south island), with a special mention to Waikawa Marae. Our trail and the Marae connect via Waikawa stream which flows from Te Maunga Piri Piri and Mt McCormick above.
Other life experience infusing our time together includes over 20 years as wholistic business NLP coach & trainer & therapist, yoga instructor, fitness trainer, outdoor guide, horticulture and eco-sanctuary conservationist with my partner Nigel including our eco-sourced plant nursery and trails.
Living an active life, I enjoy the contrast of offering nature based forest therapy experiences as an opportunity to increase a sense of belonging and connection with our natural world with recipriocity in mind. If slowing down, deepening presence and gaining deeper reflection with nature resonates, please call, I would love to share this practice with you. One aspect of the experience can possibly be likened to a gentle, minimal movement sensory meditation practice, with nature as our co-guide...
Virtual calls on Zoom are available and work surprisingly well for participants in their own environment, as well as health or business communities in a natural environment of your choice. We also work specifically with health, nature restoration & tourism communities.
For our local community in Marlborough/Nelson, regular nature based guided practice or one-off events for business, community, schools to support wellbeing are available upon request. This practice is emerging and I am open to sharing with community organically, please reach out.

I just want to say I was a little nervous about the nature bathe experience, especially it being online. BUT.. it was unbelievably beautiful. I felt nourished and relaxed during and after the 2 hours. For me the experience offered insight into myself, where I can’t usually get from a book or journaling. It was really good and would recommend it to anyone wanting to connect to themselves and appreciate nature.
