Meghan Casey was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia to Irish parents and moved to Costa Rica in her early twenties where together with her tico husband and three children they created the Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica.
Meghan trained with ANFT to become a forest therapy guide in early 2020 and has been sharing her love of this practice through guiding ever since. In August 2024 Meghan moved to Parksville on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada to be with aging family members and she is back and forth between Costa Rica and Canada.
Meghan is a great resource if you want to experience forest therapy on Vancouver Island, or try forest bathing in the jungle of Costa Rica! She speaks English and Spanish.
