Lori Carter Claimed

My name is Lori Carter is an ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide and proprietor of Interconnected Forest Therapy. I have called Northwest Arkansas my home for the last 30 years.

I grew up in Southern Illinois and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation.

After working in the Therapeutic Recreation field for many years, I transitioned to a corporate job. Having spent many years in that world, my heart was begging me to get back to the natural world. That’s when I heard about becoming a Forest Therapy Guide. I knew I had to do it.

I enrolled in the certification course through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and became a certified guide. It was one of the best decisions of my life.
