Hello there! I'm Liz, and my journey to becoming a certified guide has been rather a circuitous one..!
In 2012, I left my career as commercial real estate lawyer which at the time was a huge leap of faith though one of the best decisions of my life; a career in law was just not for me!
From London, I moved to Brighton where I trained in, and then taught mindfulness to individuals and workplace groups. Although this new direction was rewarding, I still felt something was missing.
So, for the following four years, I went on a journey of self- investigation, travelling in Nepal and India until a chance meeting with a Californian film director introduced me to the practice of forest bathing.
During my Forest Therapy Guide training, I knew finally I had found my calling. Now as an ANFT Certified Guide, Mentor of Guides and a Member of the ANFT European Council, I offer forest bathing walks, nature connection retreats and team-building away-days on the Broughton Hall Estate, North Yorkshire, UK.
