Certified through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, Kathryn Fidati has always sought solace in natural places.  Her passion and purpose is guiding others to explore a deeper reciprocal relationship with Nature, for their own health and wellbeing as well as that of the Land itself.

Her guiding practice is informed both by a long career in healthcare and wellness as well as her more recent years spent teaching as an interpretive naturalist and canoe guide. The fast pace of our modern lives and constant technological connection can paradoxically leave us feeling more disconnected than ever. Spending guided time in Nature allows us to slow down, reset, and reconnect with ourselves, each other and Nature. Experiencing the benefits of Forest Therapy firsthand inspired Kathryn to pursue guide certification to be able to share this practice with others.

When not out in the Forest, she can be found at the horse barn guiding an equine-assisted wellness program, in the backyard gardening, painting, drumming, or curled up with a good book. Kathryn maintains state Georgia State licensure in physical therapy and massage therapy and holds these certifications: Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Georgia Master Naturalist, Certified Interpretive Guide, Wilderness First Aid/CPR.
