Business Details

Mind the Forest provides Forest Bathing and Mindful Outdoor Experiences to private groups, public programs in parks and preserves, and for corporate and group retreats.  More of a saunter than hiking or exercise, we slow down and allow ourselves to directly experience the world through our senses.  The practice of Forest Bathing is the perfect antidote to the fatigue and stress many of us feel as a result of our technology-laden and busy lives.  On this walk,  we rekindle curiosity and let go of our to-do lists.  As we mindfully connect with the natural world, our perspective shifts opening us to the powerful, even transformative, emotions of awe and wonder,  and deepening our sense of connection to ourselves, others and the larger world around us.  Rekindling our connection to the natural world, we can feel the sense of life in balance.

I am a Certified Forest Therapy guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, a Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide through Kripalu's School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, as well as a certified yoga instructor.  The mission of Mind the Forest is to inspire all humans to build relationships with the natural world, to cultivate one's innate wisdom, and to bring the spirit of reciprocity to all encounters with the human and more-than-human world.
