Forest Bathing and Yoga are forks on the same road toward health and well-being. My mission is to offer various pathways for reconnecting with oneself and the natural world through the practice of forest bathing and yoga. I am a Certified Level 1 Shinrin Yoku Guide through the Mindful Tourist, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through ANFT and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) completing my training with Soma Yoga Institute.

I grew up in Montana where nature was a main character in the story of my youth.  I spent a month off-grid each summer at our family cabin.  We watched grasshoppers, discovered giant ant hills, ate elk-thistle and wild strawberries, searched the night skies for shooting stars, and lay still in fields of wildflowers listening to the wind rubbing the lodge pole pines together as we gazed up watching them dance across the wide open blue sky.

Now I have been in Crescent City for over 20 years and I find that nature once again drives the plot of my life.   It is now Banana Slugs that slow me down and invite me to find that child-like wonder of my youth...Trillium, ferns, fungi, Huckleberry, Cedar, spiders and dragonflies call to me as I wander through ancient Redwood -lined paths that all lead to home.
