Guide Details

Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States

Elizabeth grew up climbing trees and hunting wild orchids in the woods as a child. It really makes sense she grew up to become a conservationist. Elizabeth  and her arborist husband, Darrel, are restoring a woodland in Pennsylvania, removing invasive species, planting natives and creating wildlife habitat which has been extremely rewarding.  Many thousands of pollinators plus mammals and birds live within the woodland and meadows now. As a couple they also own a plant healthcare company in Lancaster County, PA.  Elizabeth is delighted to be a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, offering deeper nature connections for human health and wellbeing also. Over the years she has  experienced firsthand the profound benefit of "time with nature" for relieving stress and grief.  Elizabeth is honored to provide the time and space for others to discover what nature has to offer through relational forest therapy. Come for an immersive guided experience in beautiful Central Pennsylvania (or virtually). Elizabeth is also a landscape designer, Pennsylvania Forest Steward with Penn State and currently guides nature and forest therapy experiences at the world renowned Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA.
