I am so fortunate to have been introduced to the natural world at a very young age by my Grandmother whose calm, happy and deep connection to nature needed no words to explain. She passed her love of life and all living beings on to me effortlessly and while doing so made me who i am, and ultimately set me on the path of being a Forest and Nature Guide with ANFT.
As a child, I roamed the forests of northern Wisconsin - often alone and without fear, worry, or a sense of time- I explored! I was naturally drawn to the helpful medicinal plants of the forest and felt so safe, connected and protected in nature.
My life experiences bring a unique blend of expertise in the nature, wellness, creativity, and art worlds: ANFT Certified Forest Guide, Certified in Herbal Medicine (Cornell University), BFA Fine Arts (MIAD Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design), and Back Country First Aid Certified (NOLS).
It is my deep abiding connection to nature and creativity that i bring to guide you to slow down, connect with your senses, with the natural world, your creativity and yourself.
