Deborah Ackrich

Deborah Ackrich is the founder and principal guide of Heart Felt Nature and Forest Therapy Experiences. She was bitten by the forest bathing bug in Spring 2023 and felt an immediate calling to immerse herself in the practice. Within six months she began guide training with the Winter Wren cohort through ANFT, and completed her training  in June 2024. As a longtime resident of two very rural neighborhoods in Los Angeles, she appreciates everyday the importance of a healthy connection with nature--the more than human world--and the numerous health benefits of "bathing" in nature. It is her desire to access forest bathing in the magical lesser known spots of Los Angeles, and share the unexpected wonders with people of all comfort levels in nature. With each guided experience, she hopes to awaken wholeness in her human guests, and reveal our interconnectedness with the ever precious natural world.
