Charles Oppe Claimed

Active in the UK environmental movement since 1975, I began by participating in the first recycling co-operative in London in 1976. A more proactive role included squatting on a proposed nuclear site in Scotland in 1977, supported by Greenpeace’s Rainbow Warrior!  Over 30 years ago, I founded GAP España, and formed part of  a worldwide network of small NGO’s active in changing habits to create a more sustainable planet. At this moment we are running several EU funded projects creating pilot programmes that are being delivered to schools, universities, adult institutions, etc. Our offices are in Madrid and Bilbao, Basque Country.

I was certified as an ANFT guide after participating in the Spanish ANFT training in 2018. Currently living in a wood close to the Guadarrama National Park, one of the projects I am working on is offering Forest Bathing in the vicinity.
