Guide Details

Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil

Born in Rio de Janeiro and passionate about the beach, trees, and music, Carla Zorzanelli transitioned from an urban and anthropocentric lifestyle to a path of deep reconnection with nature and the non-human world. After completing a Master's in Science focusing on sustainability and regeneration at Schumacher College in the UK, she concentrated on deepening her relationship with nature by becoming a certified Forest Therapy guide, mentor, and trainer with the ANFT. She also delved into topics such as rewilding, deep ecology, shamanism, indigenous wisdom, Jungian studies, and regeneration, and even lived in a tent in the middle of the African savanna.

Currently, she is bringing Forest Therapy to Brazil, where she actively guides groups. Additionally, she offers nature-connection courses to various audiences on the topics she has studied and is also the co-founder of EcoUniversidade, an ecological university that promotes sustainable and regenerative learning with content focused on building an eco-future.
