Forest Bathing Santa Fe Claimed
Forest Bathing is a gentle, restorative practice that invites us to slow down, awaken our senses, and enter into deeper relationship with the living world. Rooted in the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-yoku, it is less about hiking and more about arriving — in presence, in place, and in ourselves.
As we slow our own rhythm and open our senses, we begin to attune to the life around us. This offers a host of physical health benefits, yet often something more subtle emerges as well — a feeling of connection with the land, a shift in perspective, or an encounter the wisdom that lives both within and beyond us.
No two walks are ever the same. Each one unfolding as a conversation between inner and outer landscapes — nourishing body, spirit, and the wider soul of the world.
As a certified Forest Bathing guide, I offer this practice as a stand-alone experience or integrated into workshops, retreats, and coaching. With organizational teams or collaborative groups, nature-based practices such as Forest Bathing offer a natural way to deepen engagement, build trust, spark insight, and create space for innovative and big-picture thinking.
Walks are held in parks, forest trails, and on private land. They can be customized to meet individual or group needs, ranging from two-hour experiences to longer immersive sessions. On occasion, I also offer free public walks or provide Forest Bathing experiences in the service of local non-profits.
Come join me in the beauty of the natural world — and see what may unfold.
